IEW Medieval History Based Lessons

Writing 25/26 - Middle

Description

In this themed-based writing course, students learn to write eloquently while Using the IEW writing methodology. Vocabulary study and grammar instruction forms an integral part of this study.

Class Experience

Students receive instruction in Vocabulary, grammar and writing. All assigned readings are discussed during class time. 

All students in this class have access to Office Hours, which are hosted daily Mondays through Fridays where students who experience any challenge with their work can connect and find teacher assistance.

Time Commitment

Students generally spend two to three hours outside class time on their writing by the end of the course. In the earlier lessons it requires less time. The paired reading falls outside of this time as reading speed and competency greatly vary.

Level and Pace Guidance

This class is suitable for middle school students and those who are ahead of the curve but still in elementary school.
